About

Thank you for visiting HairLossHelpCenter.org!  My name is Mark, and I have been researching and treating my hair loss for over 10 years.

I started losing my hair as a teenager.  Before I was 20, I had a pronounced receding hairline and thinning on the crown of my head.  Surprisingly, this happened right in front of me and I didn’t even notice.  It took jokes from  classmates before I realized what was going on!

Fortunately, I started Propecia that same year.  The hair on the crown of my head grew back, and the overall density improved (including the hairline).  Sadly, the receding hairline remained (see below).

This killed my self esteem.  People still made jokes, and I was never able to style my hair properly.  It made me feel ugly.  So, in my mid-20s, I decided to have a hair transplant.

I am now in my late 20s, and I look and feel better than I did in college.  My self-esteem is at an all time high, and the benefits have manifested in many ways.  Professionally, my new self-confidence helped me become one of the youngest Vice Presidents at J.P. Morgan.  In my personal life, I started dating more attractive women.  However, the biggest benefit for me is feeling comfortable in my own skin.  For years I avoided looking at myself in mirrors; I didn’t like what I saw.  Now, the person I feel like on the inside shows up on the outside as well.

I wish you the same success, and hope that my knowledge and experience help you get there.  You can start by reading my steps to treating hair loss.
