3 Steps for Treating Hair Loss

One quarter of men start to show signs of balding by the time they reach 30, and two-thirds start to lose their hair by age 60.  Many of these men see it as a sign that their youth is fading.  Their self-confidence suffers, but they choose to ignore it, fearing their attempts to treat it will be unsuccessful, or that the results will look unnatural.  That’s a bad decision!  Advances in science and technology allow us to treat hair loss effectively, and with an exceedingly high success rate, in 3 easy steps!

Step I: Hold on to what you have

Some men watch their hair thin and recede without taking any action. This adds to the cost, and increases the time necessary to see results from any future treatment.  That’s why it is important to take action today!  The more follicles that need replacing, the more money you will have to pay, and the longer it will take!

For those men who decide to take control and stop their hair loss, there are many products claiming to restore your hair to its youthful glory. The problem is, most have been proven ineffective. Only two products, minoxidil and finasteride, are approved by the FDA to treat hair loss. The first product we recommend is minoxidil. Its claim to re-grow hair in 85% of men has been backed up with successful clinical trials, and millions of customer testimonials. Best of all, you do not need a prescription.  It is inexpensive, readily available, and comes in several forms and brands (we recommend Provillus).

Step II: Regrow the hair your can

The second step in treating your hair loss is regrowing what you can.  While many men see growth just using minoxodil, most hair loss doctors recommend using finasteride at the same time in order to see the most dramatic results.  It is the only other drug approved by the FDA, and has a high success rate — over 90% of men experience hair regrowth, or no further hair loss, as a result of taking finasteride.  It is available in several forms (we recommend Propecia), but does require a prescription. Get one from your doctor, or during a free consultation with Bosley Medical.

Step III: Replace the rest with a hair transplant or hair system

After you have saved and re-grown as much of your own hair as possible, it is time to fill in the gaps.  If you significant bald areas remain, you have two options.  The first is a hair transplant.  Hair transplants were once a procedure that yielded only laughable results, but today’s hair transplants are a state-of-the-art procedure.  In the right hands, a talented hair transplant surgeon can produced undetectable, completely natural results (view my hair transplant).  The second option is a hair replacement system, and like hair transplants, numerous technological advancements over the past 20 years have transformed what was formerly called a “rug” into something completely undetectable and natural with near limitless styling possibilities.

Conclusion

Having male pattern baldness is no longer a curse. By using recognized products to stimulate hair growth and maintain what you have, you will no longer wake up with that feeling of dread associated with becoming bald. Your new head of hair will feel young, sexy and energetic, and once again you will feel ready to take on the world.  Don’t waste you time on snake oil and false information, for best results start with the two FDA approved treatments – minoxidil (I recommend Provillus) and finasteride (get a free consultation from Bosley Medical) – and join the millions of men who have benefited from regrowing their hair.
